Great little haunted hotel story. I believe this is the 3rd book in The Nightmare Inn series. They seem to get better as you go and I'm having trouble finding the first one, so I may not even bother unless I happen to stumble upon it. I was totally Team Ghost, Erin's dad was HORRIBLE.
Not as enjoyable as The Pool. The Attic is a creature feature that takes place mainly in the attic (duh) of a hotel, the New Arcadia Inn. I read this series because I love hotels as a setting but this one didn’t have much hotel stuff. Also, most of the characters were super annoying. I did like the ending, I just wish there was more in the story having to do with the hotel. This really could have been set anywhere.

It's one of those books where the creepiness is not in your face. There's something not quite right, but you don't know what exactly. These are my favorite kinds of horror books.
Also, Kelly is a strong female lead that takes charge of the situation. I've been reading a lot of horror YA from the 1990's and I didn't realize it at the time (when I was a teen in the 90's), but 90's YA horror is full of kick ass take no shit women!… (plus d'informations)
