Any author who points out that "... the answers given by religious and pseudo-scientific texts invariably turn out to be wrong. Creationism and astrology are nonsense. The Book of Genesis offers no insight into the evolution of the universe or of life." in his preface is my kind of guy! A good concise overview of the state of cosmology.
