Isaiah’s life was so brief, and yet he has impacted so many people. Jennifer could have chosen to keep him to herself—she had every right to—but instead, she chose to share, and even through the grieving process, I was amazed and encouraged to read of the hope in this story. There was so much bad—so much nearly too hard to bear—but God’s sustaining hand was so real to this mother and family, and being reminded of the hope and joy we have in Jesus for what is to come was so, so good.
If you think you can stand reading about a baby who died, this book is well worth the time spent. Decisions like what Jennifer had to face are ones that few of us (thankfully!) will ever have to make, but being able to relate to others and understand where they are coming from is very important. Despite the pain, Jesus’ love shines in these pages, and that is so beautiful to see. This was a very quick read, probably shorter even than your typical novella, but well worth it. Recommended!
I requested a free review copy of this book, and this is my honest opinion of it.… (plus d'informations)
