I liked the entire novel, but thought the writing as too stiff and choppy. Sophie sounded more immature in the book as she lived with her dad when most girls her age would have moved out long ago. Sophie is a rare being with not only one power but SIX! It appeared that others wanted to exploit her powers and use them for evil purposes, then she finds a being in The Mortal Forest to help her. He is yet male and female, they uncover a plot to use him to lure Sophie to an enemy, and she learn that nothing could prepare her that nothing is what it seems and to trust no one.… (plus d'informations)
