I received this book in a giveaway hosted by the Apocalypse Whenever group on Goodreads.

I found this book to be pretty enjoyable and I'm really interested to see how the story continues in book 2. I thought that the changing perspective was good and I liked the diverse cast of survivors. It made things a lot more interesting when you could see something happen through one character's eyes and then actually see the events leading up to that. There was a good deal of tension which made this story captivating. I can't wait until I get a chance to read the next one. And find out what's in that damn suitcase!… (plus d'informations)

Deadly Heart is a post apocalyptic story about Isabel who is a strong and independent female lead trying to care and protect her mom who has been infected. After trying to find the cure for her mother she encounter Vargas who offers the cure in exchange for helping him rescue his son.

The romance between the two characters was sweet and their struggle to survive and make right the mistakes from their past realistic.

Really enjoyable read.… (plus d'informations)

Wow! Where do i begin? This story surprised me. It excited me. I found it very difficult to put down. The story is believable and heartbreaking. Isabel does everything possible to protect and save her mother. She meets guys along the way who treat her horribly and abuse her. As the story neared the end, i feared that Isabel was not going to be saved. My heart was in my mouth. I can't say anymore without giving away the ending. I loved the post apocalyptic story idea. The jungle and scenes were so believable that i thought i was there. This is one of the best stories i have read in a long time. The author has exceeded my wildest expectations. I cannot praise this book enough.… (plus d'informations)
