Mary Robinson is the president of the Mary Robinson Foundation-Climate Justice. She is the former and first female president of Ireland, and she has served as the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Envoy on Climate Change and as the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. The stories in the book are good, inspiring. Most of the stories focus on people from the Americas, Africa and Europe.
It’s a pity that she has featured no one from Asia. Doing so would have made the book more complete. It is a small quibble.
I do not share her confidence in the Paris Agreement. To me, her concluding chapter seemed to be political, smooth.
Mary could have written a more hard-hitting book. She has not. To miss an opportunity to make a stronger case is a tragedy.… (plus d'informations)
