IHeart pounding Post-Apocalyptic Thriller

Holy cow! Marcus Richardson knows how to grab your attention and keep you leaning forward for the entire story. This is NOT just your typical Post-Apocalyptic book! I was emotionally involved from the start, virtually living in my characters bodies. I'm not going to reveal much about the plot, or I should say plots, because this book is only the first three parts. Tee Haw! Can't wait to read the rest!

Only 4 stars because of my pet peeve. It doesn't resolve for a transition (translation---ends on a bit of a resolving cliff hanger....not going to say more because SPOILER).

A great Book 1 with battles and other high octane action. Most of the characters were well developed but some of falls apart with the overall scenario. Lets see, Asians invade the west coast or NATO invades the east coast under the guise of humanitarian mission and so forth (for the sake of spoilers).

On the lower level, the read was quite enjoyable, from underground resistance in Boston, to the crew protecting a dying president in Los Angles and the most wanted man in the world (read medical miracle) somewhere in Montana.

I did enjoy the book, and will be reading the sequences.

Oh, and I receive this ARC in exchange for a honest review.
