I bought this book because I have two daughters, ages 7 and 2, and want them to grow into strong, confident women who don't rely on other people to validate their self-love. There are a lot of helpful suggestions in the book, but the one thing that I've truly learned from reading it is the best way to help your daughter love her body is to be a good role model and love your own body. No topic of conversation should be taboo, and open those conversations when your daughter is still young.
