Nice little book with an intro to some types of architectures.

A short but useful summary of several software architecture patterns: Layered Architecture, Event-driven Architecture, Microkernel Architecture, Microservices Architecture, and Space-based (aka Cloud) Architecture.

Each description read like a detailed blog post in depth, but it was useful having the patterns described together.

This book is a very succinct overview of software architecture patterns, maybe a bit too reliant on currently available frameworks and on business applications

I learned a lot from this book, and will probably refer back to certain sections in the future. There's a fair bit of fluff (it might be more fair to say "there's something for everyone"), still a recommended read.
