‘Ford Big-Block Parts Interchange’ is a book about the big-block Ford engines used in the heyday of muscle cars. The book talks about the differences between the various engines used in the day and describes what the parts are that have been historically available to improve the performance of these engines. The book does not discuss in detail how to attach and match parts but does give the reader enough information to make an intelligent decision as to what parts to focus on. There are plenty of pictures to help the reader identify engine versions along with charts that list the various manufactured engine components used over the years.

If you’re thinking about customizing or restoring an old Ford Big Block engine, this book should be your first read as it will give you an idea of where to start. Another well produced book by CarTech Publishing. This book is a wonderful addition to your high performance automotive collection. The author focuses on the Ford big block engines which is a follow up to their book that covered both Ford’s small and big block engines. George Reid who is a Ford expert covers Ford big block series here and shares what parts are interchangeable and still available for all the various engine parts. This also covers the parts that are attached to the block such as exhaust , etc. Because this volume excludes the small block the author devotes every page to the MEL, FE and 385 series big-blocks from Ford, which allows for more complete and extensive coverage with accompanying photos..… (plus d'informations)
