Dating Reality TV fans, if you need a fix in between watching the next season of your favorite Reality TV show, then Adventure To Love is the book to read!

Author Bethany Ramos weaves an entertaining tale with a Bachelor-like dating theme with a Survivor twist, that keeps the reader following along as twelve women contestants vie for the love of Bachelor Ky, a former boy band member. Set in the remote Indonesian island location of Bali, the story follows the trials and tribulations and behind the scenes struggles of three of the women contestants: Morgan, Harper, and Brinkley, who each has her own purpose for going on the show. Ky and the contestants don't know what they signed up for when they began the four week competition, and when the show goes awry, through all the drama, struggles, and twists that occur, they learn to expect the unexpected, and even some valuable life lessons.

I have to admit that I am a Reality TV junkie. I love these types of shows especially my favorites, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, so I knew I was going to enjoy reading Adventure To Love, and I wasn't disappointed! This entertaining tale has a great mixture or romance, drama, adventure, humor, twists and turns that kept me easily engaged and wanting to know what was going to happen next! I really enjoyed that the storyline featured the different perspectives of the three main women competitors, their diversity was intriguing and reminded me of the various women contestants that have appeared on The Bachelor. I couldn't help but get drawn into the adventure with Morgan, Harper and Brinkley. This fast paced story is a lot of fun, the plot twists will keep you guessing, while the drama, adventure, humor and romance will fill your Reality TV craving until the next season of your favorite show returns.

What would you do if nine months ago your husband died in a car accident, and you were finally coming to grips with it, just to have to relive it all again? That is what twenty-nine year old widow, Danielle Starkey had to deal with, when a shocking telephone call from a travel agent calls her in regard to a missed romantic vacation to Antigua that her dead husband Adam had made for two, only it wasn't with her, but his mistress! Consumed with anger, grief and an obsessive desire to confront "The Mistress," Danielle plots a way to come face to face with the other woman, and lets her know in a very publicly embarrassing way that the secret is out. What happens next is Danielle's traumatic journey through the 5 Stages of Grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance ... and it isn't an easy journey. Mixed with all the emotions that a person can go through, Danielle tries to come to grips with the reality that her marriage wasn't perfect, while trying to move forward with her life, even trying to find love through online dating. Will Danielle's journey through the 5 Stages of Grief help her close that chapter of her life, and allow a new chapter to begin? Can she ever "trust" another man again, enough to fall in love with him, or will she continue to live in the past?

I thought that the 5 Stages of Grief was an intriguing book to read, it is not the usual chick lit novel that I am used to reading, but I was pleasantly surprised. The storyline was well written, it described a very realistic, sad yet redeeming portrayal of Danielle's journey through each of the 5 Stages of Grief. While the topic of grieving is not an easy one to read about, this story also had its humorous side that lifted the heaviness, and provided a lot of laughter as well. The characters were realistic and fun to get to know, I especially loved following Danielle and her BFF April throughout the book, their antics provided many chuckles, but some tears as well. I even liked reading about the mistress, Cherry James, and enjoyed a snarky snicker when Danielle confronted her. Overall, I think that this novel was worth reading, it provides the reader with an insightful look into the grieving process, but also provides a fun romantic flair to the story as well. For a debut novel, I commend the author on writing a chick lit novel that goes beyond the norm, and I would recommend all chick lit fans to add this book to their TBR list!

Danielle Starkey's whole world turned upside down when she gets a phone call regarding a vacation planned for her dead husband and his secret mistress for a romantic getaway. Cherry James becomes the center of Danielle's focus, why did her husband cheat on her with Cherry, she needed answers and she needed them quick. A scheme to get her to attend a work gathering leads to a disasterous, melodramatic performance, that leaves her job and sanity on the line. When Gwen, Danielle's boss announces that Cherry will be working side-by-side with Danielle to create a website for her company does the real fun begin....

Bethany Ramos created the perfect blend of what Chick-Lit novels should be. 5 Stages of Grief was tragic, hilarious, smart, and utterly irresistable. I love when Chick-Lit books incorporate pop culture, and mentions of the Jersey Shore, Eharmony.com, and The Real Housewifes of New York only added the relatability of the story. Danielle's character was hilarious and relatable, as was April, her best friend, and assistant, even the infamous Cherry James was likeable in her own way. This story was fun and entertaining, and made me want to go grab a fruity cocktail and soak up some sun.

Whether you're looking for a good beach read, or want a story that will take your mind of you're own problems for a while and focus on someone elses for a bit, this book is a MUST-READ. I didn't want to put it down, and it kept me entertained from the beginning to the very last page. I can't wait to see what other books are up Bethany Ramo's sleeves, but she's definitely a name to look out for in the Chick-Lit genre.
