The Rights of Indians and Tribes par Stephen Pevar

This is a great reference for the basis of tribal policy and federal Indian law. Pevar does a great job explaining some of the most difficult material using language which anyone can understand. I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a reference book for Indian policy.
