I am bias to this book. In my opinion the Little Red Hen ALWAYS does the right thing and she is my spirit animal. We talked about spirit animals in class Tuesday 10/30/18 and to say what we thought our's was. I said mine was a chicken, a little mother hen. My Mother-in-law always calls me mother hen. I truly believe that this little red hen in the story is me! The cock and the mouse are my children and husband for sure! I always do everything until something bad happens (like I get sick) and the house falls apart (figuratively speaking) and the run out of clean clothes or clean dishes. Yep! It has happened!!! I am Little Red Hen from the story!… (plus d'informations)

This was a cute little story about 2 cousin mice who are different; one lives in the city and the other in the country. They both are not used to each others environments and both seem to can't wait to go back home, wherever that is. I would use this book to show a mini lesson on appreciating things/places you already have and realizing their importances to you. I recommend this book for pretty much all ages because we could all use a little lesson on appreciating.
