William Park

William Park received his AB from Princeton and his PhD from Columbia. He has taught at Hamilton College, Columbia, and for thirty-eight years at Sarah Lawrence College, where he cofounded the film program. He is the coeditor of The College Anthology of English and American Poetry; the editor of afficher plus Newman on the Bible; and the author of The idea of Rococo and Hollywood: An Epic Production. He has written extensively on the eighteenth-century novel, and his articles on film have appeared in The Hudson Review, The Velvet Light Trap, The Journal of Popular Film, and Crisis.
