I borrowed this as an eBook from the library. As an PDF the photos did not load. I was able to view the book online via the library and, I guess I wasn't missing much by not having photos.

The 1st pages are notes about crocheting -- stitches, abbreviations, the different yarn options, and hooks. Completely and totally redundant. Chances are if you're looking at this book you should already know those things -- I would hope. Before each pattern was a short write up about the designer, which, honestly, I could not have cared less about. I'd like to argue "More patterns and less chatter" but the patterns suck anyhow.

Lots and lots of necklaces. Lots and lots of little things -- there were 3 patterns for crocheting rings. The pattern for the hat on the cover is inside ... In my opinion there are only 2 nice patterns in the whole book -- a cowl/wrap and fingerless gloves but right now I'm making a pair of nicer fingerless gloves that I got out of Crochet World. There's a pattern for slippers but, again, I've seen nicer slippers in magazines.

I'm really glad I did not buy this book online or get it as a gift. Then I would be stuck with it.
