She holds a Master of Divinity degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary, was a campus minister at Washington University in St. Louis and at Columbia University in New York. She has been a student of Buddhism since 1976 and founded and directed the nation's first university-based human afficher plus sexuality program at the University of California at Berkeley. First off, a word of warning--this book is for non-fiction writers, not fiction writers. If you want to publish a novel, this is not the resource you need.
The implication behind the title is that your ultimate goal is a published book. Things like the topic are a secondary concern to this author. There seems to be an overarching sense that it does not matter what you can contribute with your book; the important part is being able to sell yourself and your book topic to a publisher to achieve the goal of publication. Perhaps that is the way of the world, but it is a bit of a turn-off to me.
To be fair, a lot of good advice appears to be mixed in. However, this is not a book that I would recommend.… (plus d'informations)
