I've been a fan of Pokemon since the late 90's. This is the first physical manga I ever owned in my life. I still have the manga, but it's in pretty bad condition. I would consider this a must for any Pokemon fan. It's timeless, classic, and recounts the anime almost exactly as it happened (this was published one year after a few of the episodes aired). The writing and art is very characteristic of what you'd expect from Pokemon, and the fact it follows the anime so closely is always a plus. My favorite story in this one is The Pokemon Race. I also really liked the one with the Eevee Evolution stones :)
