Awful! Daddy/little girl trope. H was a daddy dom and treated the h like a preschooler. h scared like a 5 yo even though she was 24. Soo cringy! He even dressed her and fed her and she giggled and called him butthead. Gah!! Horrible!

Cali is a Little that Declan meets on Halloween at Surrender. He is in costume but talks with her. He leaves when it becomes too hard for him to be near her. Because he is the head of the Irish Mafia in the US, he does not feel he is the right person for young, innocent Cali. However, he keeps an eye on her. She is working at a restaurant where Declan and his men frequent. When she learns who he is, and when her sister is kidnapped, she turns to him for help. He cannot help but assist her. When he finds out who is involved, he moves Cali into his mansion. Will he be able to rescue her sister? Do he and Cali have a future?

I loved this story. I loved Declan when he appeared in the Daddies of the Shadows series. I was so glad he got his own series. I loved the trust that Cali has in Declan. He is her Daddy from the beginning. She does sass him and disobey him, but he is enchanted with her. There were times I laughed at her behavior and logic. The guys did also. When she ends up in danger, through no fault of her own, Declan will move heaven and earth to rescue her. Cali, though, has moves up her sleeve also. I was glad how it all worked out.

I look forward to the rest of the series.

Aria goes to The Playground on Thursdays when it's free for Littles. She gets hurt and Tate stitches her leg up. He is immediately attracted but the age difference keeps him from going after her. When he sees her again, her car won't start so he offers her a ride home but when he sees where she lives, he invites her to his home for the night. Being a doctor, he also notices that she does not look healthy so he does an exam and blood work on her. He persuades her to stay while she heals after he receives her test results. Will she stay? Can they work out the age difference? Can they both see beyond their pasts?

I enjoyed this book. I liked Aria and Tate. I felt bad for Aria as she really had no one but herself. I understood Tate's hesitation because of being used. The two of them are so sweet together. Both are uncertain but determined to make it work. There are some missteps. I liked Tate's daughter, Valerie. Tate was so uncomfortable with their conversation.

I hate that this series is over unless Chase gets a story (hint, hint!) I enjoyed this series and look forward to the spin-off series with Declan.

Nora calls Ellie letting her know she is coming back to Seattle because Trevor hit her. When Angel hears that, he vows to make Trevor pay. Nora is so shy that she does not talk with anyone when she arrives. Instinctively, she obeys Angel when he tells her something. She turns to him for assurance and permission. The family will not sleep until Trevor is taken care of and Nora is safe. Will that happen?

I enjoyed this story. I love how gentle Angel is with Nora and how she responds to him. I love the level of trust they achieve so they can share their stories with each other. Neither has come up with easy lives. Nora was only looking for a Daddy with Trevor and ignored the red flags. With Angel, she can be in little space whenever she needs or wants to be without having to worry about being judged. When trouble happens, and you know it will, Nora's response is perfect as is her reaction when the trouble is eliminated.

I cannot believe this series is almost over. I only have one more book to go. I am going to miss being part of this family. I look forward to her other series.

Ellie works at the rescue shelter that Beau has set up. Hawk goes to pick out a dog and finds her alone. No one is to be alone at the shelter because of how they get the dogs. Ellie and Hawk fight about it. Beau comes and calms them down giving Ellie instructions to call him when she is alone. She leaves and her car won't start. She and Hawk get into it again. He decides she can use one of his cars. She does not want to drive a classic muscle car into her neighborhood. When he learns of her circumstances, he has her move in with him. The other littles find out she is a little and sets her up with Hawk at the Playground. Can they make it work?

I enjoyed this story. Both of them are stubborn and can hold their ground. I like how we get both of their stories. I like when Ellie learns of the family's secret side work. She will be glad of it as well as the family's friendships when trouble comes her way. I have to admit I never saw this ending coming. I figured Ellie would get in trouble because of the dogs but not how it all happened. I liked that the friendships helped her in this case.

I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I cannot believe I am almost done with this series.

Addie's friend, Ava, is coming back to Seattle for Knox and Addie's wedding. She's been working in California for a lawyer that will look impressive on her resume. Colt was attracted to Ava when they met and, being a IT guru, he has been watching over Ava via her doorbell. When Ava comes home, she is tired and sick. Colt takes it upon himself to help her get better. When she finds out he has been watching her, will that be the end of her and Colt? Will Colt let her go?

I enjoyed this story. I liked that there was a connection from before this story between Ava and Colt. I understand Colt's watching over her though it is creepy when Ava finds out. I like that Ava does not make it easy for Colt. He has to prove his is worthy of Ava, not that he is the Daddy for her. I like the byplay between Ava and Hawk. And what they do to his truck is a hoot! I was glad Ava got the chance to be a little with the rest of the girls. I loved what happened to Ava's boss.

I am loving this series so much.

Brynn comes to Shadow where Maddox sees her dancing alone. He's drawn to her but he does not know why. When her ex comes up to her in the club and drags her out, Maddox and his brothers go after them. Brynn has been hiding from her ex. When Maddox next sees her, she is working at one of her waitressing jobs. She gets hurt and Maddox takes over her care. Will she let him? Why is her ex after her? Can Maddox protect her?

I liked this book. Brynn has a crummy ex. I can understand why she has no trust or faith in others. As Maddox does nice things for her, she gradually opens up about her life with her ex. When Maddox and his brothers find out the ex is involved with hurting others, they go after him with the assistance of Declan. I liked watching them get the ex.

I liked that Maddox was able to reassure Brynn that if something didn't work for them, they'd figure it out and try something else. It's the first time I've read a book where the little goes further back than three or four years old. I like seeing the range of ages with the Littles in this series.

I am loving this series and these characters. Not sure yet which one I like best.

Leo and Claire have been friends since Claire's daughter, Kylie, and Leo's son, Ash, have been together. Claire wants more but feels she cannot compete with Leo's late wife. The boys have been on Leo to further his relationship with Claire. He wants to stay in the friend zone as he feels he is being disloyal to his late wife if he steps up his relationship with Claire. When he discovers she is going to go on a date, he steps up his game? Will he be successful? Will Claire let down her walls with him?

I enjoyed this story. I also liked that they were not youngsters but in their 50's when they go from friends to more. I appreciated that Claire was only finding her Little and that Leo helped her. I loved Leo's protective streak when Claire runs into trouble. I was glad they family is there for Claire, but Kylie does need to censor herself.

I am enjoying this series and finding out stories I want told are out or will be coming.

Kylie goes to Shadows when an online date falls through. There she runs into Ash, who she went to school with, and his brothers. A contact of the brothers from the police department has asked them to check out reports of young women missing after online dates. Ash was attracted to Kylie in high school but never did anything to move on her. That does not continue. They have one night together and Kylie figures that is it as that is the rule that Ash put down. Will that be it for them? Do the brothers discover the women who have gone missing?

I enjoyed this book. I liked Ash and Kylie. She is independent so she takes him at his word and decides to continue her search for a Daddy. She later learns that was not a good idea. She also learns that Ash felt more then he let on presently or in the past. Their investigation led me where I thought it would. I was glad those guys were there. I would also like to read the story of the owners of the Playground where Kylie goes when searching for a Daddy.

I am enjoying this series a lot!

With Addie's ex getting out of prison early and remembering his threats, Addie goes to Knox's gun shop to buy a gun. She will not tell him why, but he decides to train her because he has a feeling she is in trouble. They become involved with each other, then her ex turns up. Will Knox be able to save Addie? Does she go back to her ex?

I enjoyed this book. It's a great opening for the series. Knox is a Daddy Dom. Addie is a little girl. They are made for each other. She's bratty enough to keep Knox on his toes. He wants to shower her with his love and protection. She accepts all of him. She understands his secret work and encourages him in it. There comes a time when she will be glad of it. Addie is surrounded by big dominant men. I like Knox's dad, Leo, and how he knows his sons and how happy he is to have Addie join the family.

I cannot wait to read more.

The Javier family is going to Rawhide Ranch for the Fourth of July. The family is made up of men who were fostered by Leo and his late wife. All are Daddies and their littles wanted to come to Rawhide Ranch for vacation. While there, their littles get into some pretty big shenanigans. Will the men be able to stop them? Will they be allowed to come back?

I enjoyed this book. I wish I had read Kate Oliver's Daddies of the Shadows series first to know who went with whom and how they got together but I still enjoyed the littles antics and the story. Sadie is actively involved also. I chuckled as they plotted their pranks as well as knowing they would be disciplined for them. Each Daddy/little pair had their own dynamics. None were the same. I liked these characters. I loved the unicorns as well as the punishment for the unicorns. I will be reading the Daddies in Shadows series. I am totally enjoying the Rawhide Ranch series.
