I was drawn to this book because of the cover and the way I saw the illustration always used this bright neon orange that stands out against the other non-neon colors. And I continued to love the illustration throughout! The story/words however, weren’t as catching for me. I did like that it would talk about some of the facts of each of the different fruits, veggies, and other foodstuffs like different varieties of apples, what type of plant they come from, ways they are used, etc. and I think the idea of this book connecting markets to thinking about where your food comes from and the whole background and process behind the food and how it gets to you. But, it did come across as a bit too wordy I felt like, and felt more like a non-fiction read to me.… (plus d'informations)
