The first quarter of this book was a little slow for me as the new circumstances of Beno’s existence unfolded but the exceptionally strong final three quarters of the book brought this up to four stars for me. It’s a little longer then the first book and I missed the original dungeon crew, Gary, Tomlin and the rest, that may be why I thought the beginning was a little slow because I missed these guys
If you liked the first book this one is sure to please you. Just as I started this book yesterday the author posted on reddit that book 3 is now out. It wasn’t on goodreads at the time but I see now that it is. Book 3… (plus d'informations)

This is only my second dungeon core series that I’ve read but this is far better then my first series. It’s too short and the next book is just as short so they probably needed to be released as one book especially since this one ended on a cliffhanger. But onto the good things, characters great, loved the main character Beno and his first minion Tomlin the cowardly kobold but Vedetta the little girl was the most surprising of characters and my favorite.
This would have easily been on 4 star book for me if it was longer but I can’t wait to read book 2.… (plus d'informations)
