(SPOILERS for the manga series)

This short novel provides an alternate ending for the series, where our heroine Hatsumi falls in love with her adopted brother Shinogu instead of the arrogant-but-misunderstood Ryoki. We also learn how Shinogu came into the Narita family, and see a little of the fates of Asuza, Subaru and Akane. The book is interspersed with a few drawings from the mangaka, and there's a "special" manga feature at the end.

I think I would have liked this more if it had been in manga form. The story is written as if it were a manga, but without the visuals (and the occasional drawings do not count), it's just too flimsy. The characters have no depth, and the tale is told in a predictable manner.… (plus d'informations)
