There is a good blend of humor with zombie thrill to make this an entertaining reading. Fans of Ash Williams and Army of Darkness will likely enjoy this take. I enjoyed how he was able to use his fast thinking and previous experiences to get out of trouble, well, sort of. The zombies premise in this Marvel series is interesting, and the addition of Ash Williams adds a nice sense of light humor. Definitely enjoyable.

The ending was hilarious, they really captured Ash's personaly with this one. Need to hunt down any further installments now, I'm very behind.

Seven out of ten. CBR format. A bizarre cross-over between Ash from the Evil Dead series and Marvel Superheroes who have been turned into zombies. Ash lands in New York just as the zombie outbreak starts. Silly and has zombies, therefore good.

I love the Marvel Zombies, and I enjoyed this collection, although I had no previous exposure to the Army of Darkness (thankfully, that's not necessary). Basically, these comics explain how the zombie virus first infected the superheroes, so it's something of a prequel. There is plenty of guts, but it's lacking the humor that is evident in previous collections.
