A P&P variation which is set in the future and on another planet. Where the Brennezon daughters are the half human (misturas) of the all too human Mrs Brennezon. The story roughly follows the original plotline with some obvious changes because of the location and non-human species involved.
Different but I found it enjoyable enough.

Okay so the title made me laugh and i didn't know how i was going to take it seriously. But it is actually very good. It sticks more or less to the story of the original, changed names and places that are very similar to the original so you know who is who. There is also a bit from different POV so you can see motives and feelings from both parties. It's modernized a bit as well so a little more scandalous.
I thought it was very cleverly done.

Priscilla Summers pretty much has it all. She has super powers, an awesome boyfriend, keys to an invisible jet, and she is officially an eighth grader. With all the potential she’s not about to let some out of control armpit hair ruin the perfect summer. To solve her unwanted hair problem, Priscilla enlists the help of her best friend to become a certified vampire slayer.

A hilarious cast of characters makes this a fun story to read.

Priscilla the Great Vampire slayer by Sybil Nelson
4 STARS This Priscilla the great Vampire Slayer is funnier then the rest of the series so far. It also includes Priscilla the Great and the haunted dollar bill in it. also this is two short stories. But they are entertaining to read. Priscilla is a superhero but she is also a teenager who has problems growing up issues a little different than average teen though. Her big problem in Vampire Slayer she needs to get rid of really really gross arm pit hair. So she hires herself out to a teen who saw a Vampire in the hoods by thier town. The Haunted Dollar Bill Priscilla makes a bad decision and the guilt works plus the dollar bills are all have the same writing on them. Quick entertaining stories. If you like the other Priscilla books read this one is more sillier than other novels. I bought this from Amazon. Little Prince Publishing (August 9, 2012) 44 pages

Better than the first. For the target audience this could not be a better book. This author knows very well how to communicate a story to tweens, early teens. It is an enjoyable read for us older folk as well.

This is the sixth Priscilla book I have read and have
enjoyed all of them. I was excited to read this one
when I knew it was coming out May 1. So I was really
glad to read it early. In fact I read the day I recieved
it.
At the ending Bring on the Pain Priscilla was shot and
then she disappeared.
This one she wakes up naked, confused with a bullet hole
still bleeding. She heard music that her brother was always
playing she followed to wear a bag was hidden in a tree
with clothes in her size.
Priscilla realized she was only a few blocks from home.
When she tried the door it was locked for once. She
knocked and a strange girl about her age answered and was
wearing her shirt.
They did not get along especially when they had the same
name. Her mom came and after a few minutes realized it
was her best friend 25 years older Tai and she was married
to her brother Josh.
Thier are a lot of different things she has to get used too.
Priscilla even goes to school with her niece Priscilla and
runs into Xi. Xi has the gun and she wants back to change
the past. Priscilla tells her her mom Tai has the only bullet.
So only 1 can go back but they need to work together. But
noone trusts each other.
Thier is a lot of action, drama and some humor as the future
and past change. Now I have to wait again for the next book.
This is a fun book that all ages can read and enjoy.
I was given this ebook to read in exchange of honest
review from Netgalley.

I hate cliff hangers at least the next book The Time Traveling Bullet is due out this month.
Priscilla is a typical teenager who can shoot fire out of her fingers. She is 13 years old and super strong. She has risked her life a lot to save her family and others.
After her last adventure her boyfriend Marco died, her mom miscarried.
The story opens with her parents seperating and her brothers all choose to stay with their father. So Priscilla goes with her mom because she feels bad that her other three children choose him.
Priscilla talks her mom into going back to their home town and letting her go back to school with her friends.
Tai her best friend is really smart and invents gadgets that help Priscilla. She knows all about her skills and why people are always trying to kidnap or kill her. Kyle was her best friend turn to boyfriend than broke it off because he saw Marco kiss her. Kyle finally learns the truth about Priscilla and all her new skills. He has secrets now of his own with the new female coach.
Josh her older brother sees the future sometimes and he saw Marco die on last mission so Priscilla not talking to him.
Her mom has been a secret agent for years she was raised in a lab and was enginered. Her father is brillant scientist.
She has XI trying to kill her all the time. She is getting rid of others that won;t join her.
the books are fun, drama, action and have no bad parts would not be afraid to let teens read them. I know I have enjoyed reading them and look forward to buying the next one.

This is the third book in the series about a girl who one day shoots fire out of her finger tips. I enjoy Priscilla and her friends and can't wait till the next book comes out.
This story picks up after the last one when Priscilla mom's stabbed her father in chest and kidnapped two other people that she had rescued before. Dr. Witherall and Colonel Selliwood have activated a chip in her brain and now controlling her.
Priscilla and her brother are searching for their mom, Katya and Peter. Then how to unprogram tham.
Dr. Witherall and Colonel Selliwood have been trying to creat super soldiers by messing with DNA. Quin was the first too survive and for years after she escaped from them was trying to rescue the other children they had made and were controlling them. They all had different talents.
Quinn was strong, fast and smart. Priscilla was fast ,strong and shoot fire from her fingertips. Josh can read minds, know the future sometimes. Marco could turn all metal,
They have the same problems normal teens have plus a lot more. I like the relationships. I admit I cried in reading this book. looking forward to the next one.

This is a good book for a older middle school reader. Very good pace and written well from the middle school point of view. There will be a movie playing in your head as you read this. I enjoyed it and will let my daughter read it when she's a little older.

SYBIL NELSON'S "PRISCILLA THE GREAT" SERIES (REVIEW)

These books are absolutely wonderful. The heroine, Priscilla is spunky, spirited, and completely what you'd expect a 12 year old super girl to be. The message of 'girl power' in these books is one thing that I really loved. This is a series that every young girl should read from ages 9 and up. While I was reading I'd give my own daughter an idea of what the books were about and now she's dying to get her hands on them. I feel that Sybil Nelson has definitely found her niche in the writing world and these books are destined to become huge! I can't wait for more in the series!

The story is one that catches you in its grasp and doesn't let go, if you read only one middle-grade series this year you must make it "Priscilla the Great"! Be sure to check out the website for Priscilla as well at: http://www.priscillathegreat.com/

Once again, a captivating plot and more insight into the loveable characters! My only complain is that I would have liked the novel to be a little longer, but all in all, this is a fantastic book! Looking forward to the sequel!

Fire flinging fingertips, making armored, killer guards rock out to some pop music, and an invisible jet. Man, the lifestyles of the not-so-rich and super-powered.

Priscilla is just like any other 7th grade girl. She's got a mop of red hair, a overprotective father, a football playing brother, and a set of twin brothers. She and her best friend, Tai, have been plotting ways to get Priss' crush to finally crush back on her. Then, one day, Priss isn't so normal anymore. Right before school at the coolest pool party, her extremely hot crush makes her feel REALLY hot, hotter than she has ever felt before, her face is red and her body is definitely feeling 'off'. Pass it off as hormones, stress, or nerves, but when you can set fire to a bathroom towel by touching it, something has changed.

Priscilla learns at this point that she may never be normal again, and this fire thing? Is she going to scorch something every time she sees her favorite guy? This cannot be happening, and who is she going to tell? Who will believe her? The answer to that: more people than she realized, and it's an awful lot for her to understand. Oh yea - she is kidnapped and about to be killed now, did I forget to mention that? And her so-called super powers decide to take a vacation, not too super after all, huh?

I flew through this book! I loved the whole journey. It was fun, it was funny, it was exciting. I can't wait to keep going with this series. The way the author ended it was a cliffhanger I am too weak to resist.

We get to see a real family in this story. With all of the ups and downs of sibling relationships and parent/child drama. It all feels very real, even with the super powers thrown in. You can tell the family has a real dynamic to it. Who hasn't loved and hated their siblings all at the same time. The same is true in this family. One of my favorite parts is when a booger war is invoked to help the older brother out, even if he didn't realize it at the time. (Every family needs to experience a good booger war!)

Young adults and some of us not-so-young adults will rush to end of the book, when my Kindle said that I had hit the 100% mark...I was not a happy girl. I couldn't believe I finished it that quickly. I WILL be joining the gang for round two of Priscilla the Great!

this is a very original and funny start of series.
I enjoyed it pretty much, but:
the characters seemed to be at least 15 but surely not 12.
sometimes it is too much over-the-top for me, too surreal even for a fantasy.
And the cliff-hanger is really bad - I'm sure to read the second book *g*

Priscilla is not your average 12 year old, she is not even your average superhero! Priscilla has to juggle school, dating and bratty brothers with discovering her super powers. Funny, exciting and a “super” read! Glad there is a sequel!½

I read this book with my pre-teen daughters in mind and loved it. Priscilla is not your ordinary girl, but she is facing some pretty ordinary middle school problems. She learns the hard way that she really is special. A very entertaining read, I will definitely pass this on to my daughters.
