Part One of this book begins with a crash course in WordPerfect. It would be possible, I suppose, to read only the first chapter, start using WordPerfect, and simply use this book for a reference after that.

Part Two deals with editing documents, using WordPerfect's dictionary, thesaurus, and grammar checker, finding and replacing text.

Part Three is all about formatting documents. The author covers his bases in three chapters: formatting features you'll use every day, formatting features you'll use a few times per week, and formatting features you'll rarely use.

Part Four tells about printing and file handling.

Part Five gets into the more advanced capabilities of WordPerfect: graphics, columns, tables, and macros.

Part Six belongs at the beginning, covering as it does such common applications as typing a memo, writing a letter, and merging a form letter with your database of names and addresses.

Part Seven is a favorite feature of the "I Hate" series of tutorials -- "The Quick and Dirty Dozens." Here you'll find a dozen things you can do in WordPerfect, a dozen things you should never do in WordPerfect, a dozen common WordPerfect mistakes, and a dozen best WordPerfect shortcuts.
