This book can be intriguing for children to read but is a little too long for a read-a-loud. It has comedy and many cool facts about dinosaurs and outer space, definitely a good book for students to read independently.

This volume doesn't stand on its own well; it relies on the reader already having been exposed to Bee and Puppycat through the show. For fans of the show, it's probably a fun read, but for non-watchers, it's a bit confusing.

Slow start, strong finish. It took me a while to warm up to the literary conceit of having the Challenger disaster being a history lesson for students on a space station orbiting Mars in the year 2386, and the first third of the book is a boring info dump of dates and numbers, but the narrative picks up once it starts delving into the lives of the Challenger crew and the events leading up to the explosion. Even in comic form, turning the page on the fateful moment was still a punch in the gut. The late Richard Feynman takes the spotlight in the final section as he walks us through his investigation of the causes of the disaster.

Side note: I only realized a couple days after the fact that I had coincidentally and wholly unintentionally read this book on January 28th, the anniversary of the disaster.

I really wanted to like this. The characters are so flipping adorable, and I like the general magical girl premise of it. But I feel this is definitely a comic intended for people already deeply familiar with the web series (which I didn't even know existed), and there was very little in it for me to connect with. The first chapter was very engaging and introduced the characters pretty well, but after that everything just fell apart. I am going to check out the web series, and maybe I'll revisit the book to see if I appreciate any of the chapters more after that, but overall, I was not impressed.

There are no other words for this graphic novel than utterly adorable. Too cute for words

"Dinosaurs in Space" is a colorful and funny graphic novel with three mini stories inside the book. The book answers the question to what would have happened if the dinos were not taken out by an asteroid and instead hopped into space ships and left Earth. The book covers topics ranging from disputing between friends, meeting new people, and trying new things. The humor will entertain a classroom as well as the teacher.

I love Bee and Puppycat. The series has a really cool, wry sense of humour that I find really approachable.

It is a web series, so if you like the series, you'll like the comic books. It's more or less the same, and while I really like the script and the general concept, I read it mostly for the artwork. It's very punchy and dynamic and the artist is not afraid of colour.

The plot isn't always the strongest, but it was really cool to see other artists contribute to the volumes and see how they wrote and how they drew. I'm always interested in the composition of comic books, and that was a cool feature.

Check out the web series first, if you like that, check out these comics~ c:

Silas (9) read this. He gives it 3.5/5 stars. His favorite part was the giant green blob monster attacking everything. He wished there had been more fighting in the book overall.
