I would probably give this 2.5 to 3 stars if it weren't for the title, which is much more dramatic, I think, then the information in the book, itself. While the premise was more negative than positive, it did make some points for me to be on the lookout for. There were also several quotes from the physician I'm working with on a low-carb diet, and he comes across sounding like he knows his stuff (whew!). The book was a little more balanced than I expected it to be in that regard, considering the title.

I'd recommend it for other low-carb dieters as well for a view from the other side. It didn't dissuade me, just gave me another viewpoint. It was a pretty quick read, too.… (plus d'informations)
