Schnauzers, NOLA, Mardi Gras and attempted murder with a side of mystery and romance. What's not to like? Add in hilariousness, snarkfest, and great characters and this read was a winner!

NOLA, Italian weddings, and murder complicated by relationships. Sounds like a winning combo to me! Filled with misdirections and red herrings plus angst and laughs, I loved it!

How can I NOT love this book? It's got a murder investigation in NOLA with NOPD, a female amateur sleuth, pet rescue, Schnauzers, places and foods I love, and learning about tunnels in the city that's below sea level! The story is great, too! Good plot complete with surprising twists and devilish red herrings, not to mention that the characters really are. Great read!
