I received this book free through LibraryThing in exchange for my review. This book contains nine snippets of erotic stories, ranging from 500 words to 3 chapters, and none of the stories were that compelling. Although the point of view of the stories were from female and male characters, all of the stories were focused on the men and the pleasure women could give them. It is unclear who the target audience is, but these were not stories about empowering women. There are women who are unsatisfied in their relationships, but when they find lovers, the women become obsessive alcoholics. There are strong mistresses who become insecure and clingy when they meet men who spurn them. There are intelligent prostitutes who are only used as tools by men to blackmail other men. The characters are flat, the erotic scenes are repetitive, and the plots sandwiching the erotica are boring.

DNF

1. Erotic Seduction 1.5/5.0
The writing was not very good. I was not sure what was going on in a few scenes. This being an erotic story, I expected more detailed sex scenes. Only one of them was well done, detailed enough that is. Another thing is that I do not really enjoy stories about infidelity. This would not have been a problem if other elements were better, though.

2. The Mistress 1.5/5.0
A bit better written than the first story. It was even shorter, though. It ended more realistically, too.

3. The Awakening 2.0/5.0
OK. This one seemed the least complete so far. A nice setting, however.

... and then I stopped. I decided to stop torturing myself.

I received a free Kindle copy through Library Things.

"Erotic Seduction by Moll Molone is a collection of nine sensual short stories, each inspired by the Siren Calls series of novels."

Basically it was just a snippet of a collection of stories that did not leave me wanting more of the full series... most of which lack depth, anything remotely sensual or development (plot or character wise). So a collection of 9 sensual short stories.... sorry but I'll pass. From what I have read, the stories really weren't that good or any different from every other sensual stories out there. Plus providing snippets of the full stories, doesn't make it a short story!

I found that the characters in this book lacked depth. Much of the interaction between characters did not add to the plot, and I found to be quite pointless. In fact, much of the story had nothing to do with the plot.

But you're not reading this book for character depth and a twist in the plot. You're reading it for the steamy sex scenes, which this book did not lack. The main theme is dominance and submission, but there plenty of other scenes without it.

Overall, I rate this at a 3/5.

Isobel is a neglected woman by her husband Peter. She starts having an affair with Jay. All she wants is someone to pay attention to her even for just a little while. She doesn't care how she gets that attention just that she gets it. Will she get that attention? What will Jay do with her?

I enjoyed reading this story. Nevertheless I didn't like the characters. I think that Isobel is a very foolish woman who doesn't think things through. I'm not sure if she is rash or lacks common sense. I wanted to like Jay, but I'm still on the fence. I thought the story was well written.

This ebook contains 3 erotic stories featuring the woman Isobel.

The first story is in fact three sexual encounters, which aren't to much related. The first two encounters were sensual, but the last one was not to my taste: to much male violence. I did not finish this story.

The second story is a preprequel to the first one. The theme is a unhappy wife lost in Marokko that finds a hero. Not erotic, just romance. Not special.

The third story is more a teaser and does not finish. Pity.

All in all not my taste.½

I enjoyed the premise of this more then I enjoyed the actual book. I was left feeling like I was missing something.½

Firstly, this is a good book if you're looking for some not-terribly-involving recreational erotica. The adult scenes were crafted with care and attention. If that's what you are looking for you won't be let down.

But... the characters feel thin and, as another reviewer has noted, the scenes bop back and forth in different times and places in a way that's disconcerting. Perhaps if the character were more developed they could've served as a strong connective tissure between scenes, but in this case they do not.

Also, while the point of this story seems to be the erotica, some of the descriptions are overdone. I understand the writer's desire to touch upon all the details they can find, but the result feels more cluttered than comprehensive.

Still, this was a fun, highly-charged, read. If you're looking for a little light erotica, this might be perfect for you.

So, a book where the main theme is of an adult nature. I'm not one to judge whatever a writer is drawn to, however this book, while leaving the subject out of the equation, was not written well. Isobel, the main character in two of the stories, is hard to visualize in the real world, and Jay, the main protagonist, isn't believable, in any way, shape, or form. Also, for a trilogy, the first two stories could be linked via, what could be described as a weak plot link, but the third story didn't make sense at all.½

I won this on a LibraryThing giveaway. This is the start of three stories. Isobel is seeking attention, maybe approval thru Jay who is more than happy to oblige. But he has his own insecurities to deal with. This was a nice touch to the main stories that will follow.

NOTE: I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book turned out to be a preview of the main book that either has or will be coming out. It showed short snippets of stories involving the main characters and no real background was provided. Was it interesting? No because the parts ended before you could get interested in either the story or characters. Best bet, wait for the main book if you are interested in this type of book.

WARNING. This is strictly an adult boy and not for anyone not of legal age.

I liked the first short story, even though I didn't think there was enough there. But I guess I should have expected that since it's a quick read. The other two short stories didn't hold my attention. They all were written well though.½

Erotic Seduction consisted of short stories from the "Siren Calls" Trilogy. Although I was unaware of this when I began reading and was ultimately disappointed as the stories ended; I was more than anxious to continue reading the story of Isobel and Jay. I didn't like how the stories bounced around from one place and time to another, but they were well written, interesting, and kept you wanting to read more. I look forward to reading the "Siren Calls" Trilogy.
