The Manga talks about two girls: Nana, a very average child from the real world and Majoko, a wizard girl from the Land of Magic. When Nana opens a diary which Majoko is tossed into the human world and the two girls become friends. Both girls have their faults; Majoko is not good at magic and her spell often is made mistake; on the other hands, Nana although is not smart, she can be clever and determined when the situation requires it. The two friends take magic journeys in a timeless fairy tale setting to explore the world and better their friendship. The Big Adventures of Majoko v.4 is one volume in a series of children’s manga books. The series was originally published in Japan and later translated to English. Each volume contains a collection of short stories about Majoko a witch who lives in the land of magic and her friend Nana, a human girl. There are other minor recurring characters throughout the series. The plots are simple with minimal development of characters. The stories are written at a very low reading level, and readers are explicitly told what is happening throughout many scenes.
