This is a novel which is based on real life events and I think that because I knew this before I started reading, the things that happened felt a lot more real and it was more emotional because I already knew that it wasn’t completely fictional.
This was an extremely quick read and I think it would be suitable for all age groups, even younger readers and the events that happen although they are sometimes sad, seem to conclude in a satisfying way. The characters were enjoyable to read about and on the whole, I think that this book gave an interesting view on World War II, looking at the experiences of the children rather than the soldiers fighting.… (plus d'informations)
