This was a cute enemies-to-lovers story! It was fast paced and a quick read, but loaded with that underlying tension we all love and tons of steam!! And you can't have an HEA without some drama sprinkled here and there.

I was intrigued from the very first page and knew that this modern day tale of Romeo and Juliet would be a winner!! Kelly and Vince had been school mates, and she had defended him when her Irish friends ganged up on him, years later she graduated from college and returned home to work in her dad's bar. Meanwhile, Vince had taken over as CEO of the Italian mob, and earned the nickname of the Executioner. It was sparks flying when he and Kelly had met again. Well, Luke and Skylar are back!!

This was such a great second-chance story! Sky on the backslide of a bad break up, Luke on the starting line of his upcoming wedding. Their lives couldn't be in more different places. But, you know what they say - you never forget your first love.

I loved these two. In the first book, they were such opposites but at the same time, they just fit. Now, while their fake relationship from all those years ago is long over, they still have that spark and they just fell back in to sync with each other.

You could tell Luke was making a big mistake, and you just wanted Ashlee out of the picture. Move out of the way and let the real love happen! And the string of swipe-right dates of Sky's?
Puh-leeze!!! Ugh. Horrible.

I made it 33% and I can go no further. I honestly can't tell if the author is trying to pull a fast one on the reader, if the author hasn't actually had sex, or if they just chose some really unfortunate phrasing the editor failed to catch (along with several typos). Like, there are some serious misunderstandings about male and female anatomy alike. Just, ew. No.

Aside from that, Cole, the main character, is supposed to be this amazingly experienced Dom who agrees to train Rose to be like omg the best sub evarrrr. I made it through four of their "scenes" before giving up any hopes of seeing anything close to a realistic D/s relationship. Again: just, ew. No.… (plus d'informations)
