Mia is a dog trainer for herding dogs. She's also getting over the death of Riley, her love, as she travels from place to place doing the training. Then she winds up next to Sid's family's land. They do not get off to a good start, but, slowly they become closer and closer. With some bumps in the road, but, honestly, not as many as I thought there'd be.

There's also a couple of subplots that were interesting. one with Sid and her job as an art gallery manager, and one with stolen cattle and other nefarious goings around Sid's farm and the neighboring ones as well.

The characters were all fun to read about and very varied, and the plots kept me engaged as well. It was a very very fun read.
