I had mixed feelings about this book, which I read as an Early Reviewers Copy. Things I liked:
  • the portal idea for Santa travelling
  • that there might be multiple 'Santas' visiting different locations
  • the length of the book, ideal for sharing
  • the grumpy but caring character
  • it was mostly a reasonably happy ending of sorts
Things I didn't like:
  • at times it was confusing and it took a while to catch up with what was happening
  • the death angle involved with part of the story
  • some of the language used wasn't readily accessible
Definitely more there that was positive about the story than negative, but it probably won't be one I come back to.… (plus d'informations)

Such a fun and inventive quick holiday read. Loved the style of the writer, making each page even more interesting than the last, while trying to answer the question, is santa real?

I have to say these stories did not blow me away. They were okay as a quick read at night before bed. They were not bad, but not that good either. It fell somewhere in the middle for me.

I hadn't read (or even heard of) "The 15 Second Principle" prior to reading this book, but it had definitely piqued my interest and now I want to check it out.

"Living Your Best Life" is a very short book (only about 48 pages) based on an interview with Al Secunda, author of the previously mentioned "15 Second Principle". While it may be brief, I took away many great ideas to consider, especially on working toward a goal for 15 seconds a day, being forgiving toward myself, and recognizing fear, but not letting it be in control of decision making.

*I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review
