I should have wrote the review for this before I read [b:Beauty: A Retelling of the Story of Beauty and the Beast|41424|Beauty A Retelling of the Story of Beauty and the Beast|Robin McKinley|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1294192311l/41424._SY75_.jpg|2321285] because I'm fairly sure I'm mixing them up. So disregard anything that sounds off.

I liked Coquette although I hated her name. And it irritated me how she proceeded to ignore the selfishness and callousness of her family for so long. I really liked Valor and the relationship that developed between them. I enjoyed that they had a previous relationship. I felt that really added something to the story. The back and forth between Valor and Coquette was amusing and I found myself cheering Coquette on as she pulled one over him.

This book wasn't without its problems but overall it was a very enjoyable read.… (plus d'informations)

The Pirate Ruse par Marcia Lynn McClure
This book was excellently written. A pirate novel!!! Absolutely great. There was pillaging, plundering, wenching, partaking in the devil rum drink and piracy. I finished this book in about a day. Now I must off and find the next adventure.

Desert Fire par Marcia Lynn McClure
My Review

So many books written these days are missing that element of romance, but this book takes me back to those days of getting lost in a love story you wish wouldn't end. The teasing of Malaina for her prudent nature and Jacksons' white knight role never failed to make me smile.

My Review

This book brings my heart joy, to show the longing one has to be loved, imperfections and all, and also the sharing of ones true heart with those closest to us. Could have done with a little less of the giggling but nonetheless, perfection!❤️
