Another breathtaking book of this winning series. Book 4 is Will and Maggie’s story and it is a whirlwind of time-travel, suspense, deceit and romance. I found the story so exciting that I just jumped in and didn’t come up for air until I was done. Thank you, Kindle, for the reading app on my phone. I was sucked in and loved it all. The author gives it the authentic feel with the language and descriptions. The personalities of the characters are so well-written and well-done. I had to chuckle at the conversations of the ladies and the men. This was a thoroughly enjoyable story. I’m going to be eagerly awaiting more, I hope. If you like time-travel romance, this whole series is for you. I can’t recommend this enough. Another author on my favorites list.… (plus d'informations)

I am seriously torn about this book. It ticks off so many boxes for me. It is a wonderfully written story. It shows excellent world-building as it explores more and more of Ciaran’s past and pulls the duality into the modern story. It is a seamless integration of fantasy and contemporary fiction. Also, the characters are fleshed out in spectacular ways. I am simply in love with Fathers Michael and Dennis and I could adopt Mary with her amazing family. Ciaran maintains an innocent look on life even having faced what he has. The only question mark in the main characters is Caitlin. Not sure she is really likable or good enough for Ciaran, but it feels like it was intended for her to be that way rather than just the way she comes off to the reader. My main issue is that this book is almost 400 pages of primarily set up for the continuing story. Still, I am so excited about what happens next.… (plus d'informations)

This book is the third book in the series. This is one of my series. It is unique, original and very engaging. I am a fan of all things Celtic. I usually have to have a dictionary near me to look up some of the words used but then I'm learning new things (educational :) win/win). The characters are so full of personality. Not only do the accents crack you up but the fact that they are time travelers make it so unique that you can't put the story down, you have to know what's going to happen next. The author does such a wonderful job of researching the history and incorporating it into the story. Fresh and engaging, this story is still fantastic. The drama will keep you on the edge of your seat. What will happen? You are going to have to read to find out. I was thrilled to see there will be another coming after this. Still a favorite series. I will always recommend. Can be read as standalone or in series order.… (plus d'informations)

This reminded me a little of Outlander, but with a bit of a twist. I loved Maggie from the start, and it's no surprise she doesn't believe her father at first when he claims to be from the sixteenth century. She handles her trip back in time surprisingly well, and the story itself is interesting. There are a few lulls, but overall it moves along smoothly. A great historical romance with an interesting twist.
