On a snowy day, Pooh and his friends decide to build a snowman, but they have trouble agreeing on a place to build it and certain individuals are more interested in bouncing the snowman than building. It'll take a strong maternal figure to bring order to the chaos.

The story is pretty bland, and I'm not a fan of Jerrod Maruyama's "Disney Baby" art style.

(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:

All his friends are busy, but Pooh still visits them one by one to ask them how he he can make new friends. That seems very passive aggressive, yes? He uses their advice to befriend Renny, a hedgehog.

This boring story uses the same style of art found in the Disney Baby series of board books. As a matter of fact I think it uses some of the same art. I have a theory that illustrator Jerrod Maruyama has drawn Eeyore like maybe three times total in his life and simply cuts and pastes those three images into every book he does for Disney. Most of the characters are sort of cute, at least, but Tigger looks terrifying.

Another of those Pooh books where they only way the author can think to tell the story is to have Pooh go around and greet his friends one by one. I'm so tired of that structure. The touch-and-feel aspects were fairly bland except for Eeyore's ear. Rabbit looking adorable in a gardening hat almost made me give a bonus star though.
