Very porrly written. Makes you wonder if it were translated from Austrian or not. Where was the book editor in this process?

Gruellingly detailed account of Josef Fritzl's crimes, concentrating on the years between 1984 and 2008 when he detained his daughter Elisabeth in a specially constructed cellar and fathered seven children by her. It is very critical of the Austrian authorities' naivety and incompetence in allowing it to happen and their eagerness to forget all about it now. Rivetting, but not an easy read.
