The Boy on the Bridge was such an interesting story. I chose this one as part of my Romanceopoly reading challenge and I am so glad that I did because I truly did love it dearly. It wasn't perfect or anything and nothing like Untouchable which in my mind is her best book. But This one was a bit different than I actually expected and it had a very refreshing feel to it because the hero is still a good guy just misguided in certain ways and just filled with hurt and anger so it makes sense in why he acts in a certain way. But the grovel was way too drawn out. I felt like the heroine was too hard on the hero with how long she took to forgive him. Yes he did something awful but it wasn't unforgivable when she knew he was on a plan of revenge. I was very interested to see how this story would grow and develop and even though there were aspects of how the conflict was resolved, I really had a fun time seeing this couple learn so many valuable lessons together.
It had some plot holes in the third act that to be honest didn't make sense why it was even placed especially as this is a standalone so it left some unanswered questions unless its connected to some of her other books. But if you are a fan of Sam Mariano, then you will have a good time with this one here.… (plus d'informations)
