This is such commonsense advice that I am still amazed, after eleven years of teaching, how rarely it is heeded.

Chapter 9, Sharpen Your Skill, is the best chapter in this book. The author provides some practice for the reader. In addition to the practice, there are solutions and explanations. But the result is that the author engages the reader in the process, not just the knowledge covered.

Deals with the importance of having clear attainable goals and how to reduce fuzziness in thinking about them.

The Chapter "What would happen if we left it alone ?' would be worth the price of the book. It is the usual Mager quality, useful for both school and work. I am thinking about applying it to personal goals
