The artwork - nature prints - is lovely. The fantasy is original, different. Yearning to see some of the world they have heard the birds talk about, the leaves fall into the water and become fish." Well, that description (found on half.com) is not quite what I got out of it, but ok...."

This book describes in paintings the life cycle of the wild poppy. This rather large book's writingsare very informational.

In this charming book, leaves fall into the water and become fishes. The illustrations are made with prints from real leaves.

This is a story about the red poppy and how it produces, lives and where they are located. The art in this book is very realistic and shows the reader exactly what one of these flowers look like.½

In summertime the world is green, and the straight rows of grain in tilled fields show the results of the farmers' hard work. On the sides of the fields, red poppies grow--they are a summer joy for everyone to appreciate.
