well. where shall I start?
this story read like a first draft rather than a finished and edited novel.
lots of dialogue; most without any markers as to who said what, which was confusing at times. not to mention that the dialogues were so strange I truly wonder where in the world people talk like that.
strange jumps in the storyline, one moment they talk about going out to eat (a very important topic of the book, lots of cooking and eating) and a few lines of dialogue later they talk about being finished with eating.
