The New Testament Environment par Eduard Lohse
This book is well written, though the reader should be aware it is very dry as it is intended only for very serious students of the New Testament world and times. The history is well researched and quite thorough but it is HISTORY. It is not an entertainment work. It is probably intended more for seminary students. If this is you, then this book should serve you well.½
