Her recipes are a flavorful mix of low-fat, low-sodium foods, controlled calories and easy preparation. This winning combination has sold over 1.5 million books. Fink, M.D., and "The Lighthearted Cookbook" (1988), published in conjunction with the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Among Lindsay's other works are "Smart Cooking" (1986, rev. ed., 1996), "The Lighthearted Every Day Cookbook" (1991), "Low-Cholesterol Cuisine" (1992), "Anne Lindsay's Light Kitchen" (1994) and "Anne Lindsay's New Light Cooking"(1998). All feature taste-appealing, health-promoting, easy-to-make foods. Anne Lindsay Greer was born in Canada in 1944.
