Published in 2007, it highlights all of the benefits of collaboration in an overly optimistic way without dealing with the hard work necessary to take group think and convert it to valuable collaboration that results in better work. This shows through in a lot of the examples of the book for successful collaboration in 2007 being defunct businesses now. Failing to move from a disorganized group into intentional teamwork takes more than general platitudes about community and crowd-sourcing. So some good ideas if you are inexperienced in thinking of novel ways to involve groups appropriately where you work, but overall, dated and insufficient for practical application of collaborative teams.
