Critiques

A very Australian (read frank, unadorned) account of the events that happened before the horror that was Sandpapergate. Lemon has close access to all the principals and is sympathetic of the three men in the middle of the scandal, but never excuses their behavior. At the same time, he points a strong finger at the administrators in Australia and ends on a somber note about how things will not really change that much. Administrators in other countries are no better, one suspects. All in all, very sobering and an extremely engaging read.
