Infomages | 1 autre critique | Sep 18, 2012 | This book is written and illustrated by 8 year old author David T. Lee. It is the sequel of "Danny and the Portal of the World". David published his first children chapter book when he was 7. He got a lot of good comments from his school principal, teachers, children book authors, librarians from public libraries, and his friends.
Danny and the Trip to Outer Space is a book of imagination. An adventure story young kids would love to read. From a simple birthday gift, it starts a journey from Earth to another new galaxy previously undiscovered by scientists. There is a planet made out of all kind of delicious food. You will see strange animals that can talk and have their own businesses. Spectacular species from other planets attacked Danny's aircraft. To win over the aliens, Danny and his relatives need to work together. You will find out new technology you never heard before. Eventually, Danny created another portal near the Earth.
It is a great story filled with action, exciting dialogs, funny moments, and digital color illustrations all created by David.
Here is another feedback of his book provided by a long time children book author and editor:
"David, what a stellar accomplishment (no pun intended!). I love your judicious use of JUICY words and your swiftly moving plot. Danny's 15,486 relatives are wonderfully absurd, and our hero's solutions to keeping them all comfortable and safe are endearing. And of course I am partial to the fact that you worked in the Brooklyn Bridge! Excellent job, David! Keep it up!"
I highly recommend this book to children from grade 2 to 6.… (plus d'informations)

Infomages | 1 autre critique | Sep 18, 2012 | Danny and the Portal of the World was written and illustrated by a 7 years old student in Massachusetts. This book contains 12 chapters, approximately 4,500 words and 24 detail black and white pencil drawings. It was published on August 1, 2011 and is available for sale on Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com.
It is a very excited story talking about instant transporting and traveling. Danny was transferred from England to Massachusetts when he suddenly slipped into his own invention. He designed a portal that can move objects from one place to another immediately. The story is full of imagination, funny scenes, creative drawings and marvelous use of vocabularies by a talented young author David T Lee.
The assistant principal from David’s school, staff from a local public library and a long time children book author/editor are all amazed by David’s achievement at such young age. Starting August 2011, he will be posting weekly on his author’s blog “Books”R”Fun” located at the web address below.
http://infomages.com/booksrfun/
He utilizes his blog to share his book reviews, writings, illustrations and preview of his future books. He welcomes everyone to subscribe to his blog and post comments.
I am very proud of David’s passion on writing and his goal to inspire young children to read and write more often.
Good job and continue to improve!… (plus d'informations)
