I really bought this because I thought it would be helpful to my son who felt that he wasn't very good at drawing. Basically it is a very easy introduction to drawing and vey positive in its approach. That said, it is short and a little simplistic and doesn't go into a lot of details with things like perspective. Yes it does cover perspective but not in any detail. I think it probably does what it sets out to do and that is encourage people to draw and to get the confidence to draw...even when they feel that they have no ability.
