Years ago, I mentioned to my mother that a friend of mine had written this book on the black market. When I told her the title, she shocked me by saying, "Books like that should be burned!"
There are a lot of people who do believe such things. They will not like this book, a fine little guide to peaceful black market activity.
The author, a few years later, ran for Labor Commissioner in the state of Oregon, under the aegis of the Libertarian Party. He was the only one in the race with anything like a scholarly background in the subject. Quite amusing. One of those droll footnotes in political history.… (plus d'informations)
