Fantastic encyclopedia covering all aspects of Edgar Wallace's life, books and adaptations. The book is at its best when it comes to covering the lives of all the actors and other artists associated with those adaptations, however, one would have hoped for more proper reviews of the books and films rather than dry synopsis and quotations from long forgotten contemporary reviews.

Very in depth overview about the history of the German Edgar Wallace movies. A bit heavy on the synopsis side of the reviews, a bit too dry when it comes too the film analysis. Still a Must of lovers of the Krimi genre.
