A good reference if you already know about lavendar. I picked this up because I have a small plant I'm trying to cultivate but I don't really know what to do with it. The thing is itty-bitty and doesn't have many flowers yet. This book was not helpful with that. The specific reference information is great--there's an overview of the many different kinds of lavendar plants, the uses, and some interesting recipes. But I still don't know at what point I should harvest my plant or when it may grow to a useful size.

Book offers tips and ideas on things to make. Buy it if it's on sale.
